Job Summary
We are building a next-generation ePrescription solution from the ground up, integrating with SureScripts. We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect – Java with strong expertise in Healthcare IT integrations. The ideal candidate will lead the technical design and architecture, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for the ePrescription solution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Define, design, and implement Microservices-based architecture with a strong focus on Java 17+ and Spring ecosystem.
- Ensure seamless integration with SureScripts and other healthcare systems.
- Drive best practices in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and maintain high code quality.
- Oversee technical teams in solution implementation, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Ensure application security and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Manage deployments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and ensure effective use of cloud-native services.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and DevOps to streamline CI/CD, monitoring, and logging practices.
Qualifications

Extensive experience with Core Technologies:
- Java (Java 17 or higher)
- Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA
- Microservice Architecture
- Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
- Test Driven Development (TDD)

Proficiency in Messaging & Integration:
- ActiveMQ
- Kafka (Producers & Consumers)

Frontend Technologies:
- Angular
- Bootstrap

Experience with Cloud Platforms:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Spanner
- PostgreSQL
- AWS

Knowledge of Identity & Access Management:
- Keycloak
- Ping Federate

Skills in Testing & Debugging:
- JUnit 5 (Unit Testing)
- Strong debugging skills for complex enterprise applications

Familiarity with Monitoring & Logging:
- Dynatrace
- Kibana
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in Healthcare IT projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance issues specific to healthcare.
Experience
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in software development or architecture, particularly within the healthcare domain.
