Snowflake Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building data warehouses and integrating data from various sources using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, contributing to the organization’s data management goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Develop stored procedures, views, and schemas within the Snowflake environment.
• Optimize queries and manage performance tuning for Snowflake.
• Integrate data from various sources, both cloud and on-premises, using ETL/ELT tools.
• Ensure adherence to data quality, security, and compliance best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Snowflake development.
• Proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, dbt, or Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Educational qualifications in relevant fields (e.g., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or any scripting language.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data integration.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Snowflake Developer or a similar role.
