Job Summary

The Data Modeler role is critical in designing and implementing data models that support various business processes and analytical tasks. This position contributes to the organization's goals by enhancing data structures, ensuring data quality, and facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data models for large-scale databases, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to implement data governance strategies and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain documented data definitions and models, updating them as necessary to reflect changes in business needs.
• Utilize SQL and Databricks to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) domain to understand data needs and provide analytical support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience with Databricks for data analytics and processing.
• Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA for data modeling and integrated business processes.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services for data storage and computation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is highly advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Certification in cloud platforms or data modeling techniques.

Experience
