Lal Sweets is one of Karnataka’s most beloved traditional sweets and snacks brands, known for its authentic taste, quality, and consistency. With a strong retail and distribution network across the state, Lal Sweets has grown to an organization of 600+ employees and a revenue base of ₹200 crore — with an ambitious goal to scale to ₹1000 crore in the next 4–5 years. The company operates two manufacturing plants in Bangalore and is expanding rapidly to meet growing consumer demand.
We are looking for an experienced HR Lead who can drive the people agenda at Lal Sweets by blending strategic business partnering with on-ground HR operations. The ideal candidate will have exposure to both corporate and plant HR environments, a strong understanding of local labor laws and compliances, and the ability to work closely with promoters and business heads to align HR initiatives with organizational growth goals.

Act as a strategic HR partner to the promoter and leadership team, aligning people strategy with business goals.
Drive organizational growth through effective workforce planning, capability building, and succession planning.
Provide insights on HR metrics, productivity, and retention to influence key business decisions.
Lead end-to-end hiring across corporate and plant roles with a focus on agility and quality.
Build a strong local talent pipeline, leveraging both internal referrals and external partnerships.
Strengthen the company’s employer brand through community engagement and employee advocacy.
Oversee payroll, statutory compliance, and HR operations for all locations.
Ensure 100% adherence to labor laws, factory regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Liaise with government departments and local authorities as required.
Champion a people-first culture while maintaining Lal Sweets’ family-driven ethos.
Drive employee engagement programs, communication initiatives, and grievance redressal.
Develop policies that enhance employee experience and align with business needs.
Identify capability gaps and implement practical training interventions.
Support leadership development and skill enhancement at both corporate and plant levels.
Implement performance management systems that drive accountability and results.
Review compensation structures and ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
Education: MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 7–10 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to both corporate and plant HR environments.
Industry Preference: FMCG, food processing, manufacturing, or consumer goods sectors.
Strong business partnering skills with the ability to work closely with promoter leadership.
Fluent in Kannada (mandatory) and English; ability to engage effectively across workforce levels.
Hands-on experience with statutory compliance, local labor laws, and industrial relations.
Proven ability to scale HR processes in a growing organization.
TA mindset with strong execution capability and data orientation.
