Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support data analytics and business intelligence needs. A strong foundation in cloud data platforms, data transformation tools, and programming is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Lake and dbt.
• Ingest and transform data from various sources including databases, APIs, flat files, JSON, and XML.
• Work with Snowflake to optimize storage, processing, and query performance.
• Collaborate with analysts and business users to understand data requirements.
• Integrate workflows using Apache Airflow for orchestration.
• Support and contribute to the development of reporting and visualization tools using Power BI (good to have).
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Python.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines and platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure Data Lake.
• Proficient in dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Experience working with data from diverse sources: databases, APIs, flat files, JSON, and XML.
• Good working knowledge of Snowflake, beyond basic querying.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for job orchestration and scheduling.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Power BI for creating dashboards and visual reports.
