Job Summary
The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, responsive web applications. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication to collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet all defined requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Lead, mentor, manage, and provide technical guidance to a team of developers.
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive, mobile-friendly web applications.
- Write code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, and the existing library of web components.
- Ensure website accessibility and security to protect sensitive data and user information.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and robust frontend code.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, including a thorough understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and document APIs.
- Good understanding of ReactJS, including writing functional components and hooks.
- Basic knowledge of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process.
- Understanding of web standards, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, website security, and data privacy best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong project management skills with an understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Typescript.
- Familiarity with additional JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
