She/he should have firsthand experience in launching<br /> and growing businesses and understand the challenges and dynamics of early-stage ventures and<br /> start-ups.<br /> Domain Expertise: Co-Founder should possess deep knowledge and expertise in a specific industry<br /> or category that Think9 focusses on – food, fashion, home, beauty, and wellness. They must have a<br /> strong understanding of the industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify<br /> and execute promising business opportunities.<br /> Strategic Vision: Co-Founder should have the ability to think strategically and envision the longterm<br /> potential of a business idea. They can assess market dynamics, identify gaps, and formulate<br /> innovative strategies to address them. Co-Founders are forward-thinking and can guide startups in<br /> shaping their vision, mission, and growth strategies.<br /> Problem-Solving Skills: Co-Founders excel at problem-solving and are adept at finding creative<br /> solutions to complex challenges. They can quickly identify bottlenecks, develop actionable plans, and<br /> navigate obstacles that arise during the early stages of a startup's development.<br /> Team-Building Abilities: Co-Founders should have proven leadership skills and the ability to build,<br /> nurture and inspire teams. Co-Founders are effective communicators, collaborators, and mentors who<br /> can guide and develop the talents of the startup's team members.<br /> Network and Relationship Building: Co-Founders typically have a vast network of contacts,<br /> including industry experts, potential customers, and other entrepreneurs. They are committed to the mission and goals of the<br /> Venture Builder firm and are willing to invest their time and expertise to nurture and grow the portfolio<br /> startups at least for a period of four years, if not more.<br /> 3<br /> Role & Objectives<br /> The primary responsibility of a Co-Founder is to bring their entrepreneurial expertise and energy into<br /> the Venture and the execution of key initiatives.<br /> Aligning Business Plan and Operational Planning: Co-Founders will use their industry<br /> knowledge and market insights to align the existing business model, identify target customers, and<br /> define the Venture’s input matrices, output matrices and financial goals on a monthly and annual<br /> basis. They will help translate the overall business strategy into actionable plans, ensuring alignment<br /> between Think9 board and day-to-day execution.<br /> Revenue & Channel Development: The Co-Founder will be actively involved with developing and<br /> growing the Venture’s sales and distribution channels. They will develop effective margin and revenue<br /> strategies, help identify potential channel partners, and support the team in building strong<br /> relationships with retailers, e-commerce platforms, and other channels.<br /> Data Analysis and Optimization: The Co-Founder will contribute towards a culture of data-driven<br /> decision-making at the Venture. They can help establish key metrics for tracking performance, analyze<br /> data to identify trends and opportunities, and make data-informed recommendations for optimization<br /> and improvement. The Co-Founder can also guide the implementation and utilization of analytics<br /> tools to gather actionable insights.<br /> Partnerships and Collaborations: The Co-Founder can actively seek out strategic partnerships<br /> and collaborations that can benefit the Venture. They can leverage their network and industry<br /> connections to identify potential partners, negotiate agreements, and establish mutually beneficial<br /> relationships. Partnerships can range from collabs or co-marketing initiatives to distribution<br /> partnerships and technology collaborations.<br /> Continuous Improvement and Adaptation: As the Venture evolves, the Co-Founder will play a<br /> crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptation. They can encourage a<br /> mindset of experimentation and iteration, promoting agile methodologies and rapid learning. The Co-<br /> Founder can also help identify areas for optimization, address bottlenecks, and drive process<br /> improvements to enhance operational efficiency.<br /> Team Building and Leadership: The Co-Founder will actively participate in team building efforts<br /> by recruiting and assembling a talented and diverse team. They will identify and attract individuals<br /> with relevant skill sets, experience, and cultural fit.<br /> Product Development and Innovation: The Co-Founder will contribute to product development,<br /> identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation, and help prioritize features and<br /> enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
