Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive NetSuite Functional Consultant or ERP Business Analyst to join our team in implementing and optimizing NetSuite ERP solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of NetSuite’s modules, workflows, scripting requirements, and a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing, Demand to Brand, Record to Report, etc.). The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to configure, enhance, and deploy key ERP features to improve operations, financial accuracy, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• ERP Functional Implementation and Configuration

  • Configure and optimize Support Case Management, Demand Planning, and New SKU Setup workflows.
  • Implement automation features such as Invoice Emailing and Case Resolution via NetSuite’s C2R and O2C modules.
  • Develop and maintain workflows for Landed Cost Estimation, PO Approval, and Customer Payment Applications.
  • Create saved searches, custom fields, forms, and user roles based on specific business needs.

• Workflow and Data Automation

  • Build CSV templates and mapping for data imports/exports (e.g., payments, item records, historical demand).
  • Automate the Actual Receipt Date updates and link record dependencies (e.g., Work Orders, Ship Dates).
  • Develop and configure automated small balance write-offs and invoice creation using saved searches and custom workflows.

• Process Enhancement & Documentation

  • Review and refine existing processes in the P2P, O2C, and MFG cycles to eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Recommend, configure, and implement improvements such as:
    • Vendor creation workflows
    • Tax code assignment for multi-ship-to addresses
    • Draft status for new SKUs and customer records
    • Compliance fine and deduction tracking
  • Collaborate with business owners to document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and training content.

• Manufacturing and Supply Chain Optimization

  • Evaluate and enhance Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) processes (dynamic BOM, real-time consumption tracking).
  • Track scrap and trim through enhanced Unit of Measure (UOM) mapping and reporting.
  • Address inefficiencies in multi-step production and work order generation from sales orders.

• Advanced Reporting and Visibility

  • Design and implement dashboards and reports for shipment readiness, compliance fines, packaging, and freight tracking.
  • Enhance print-out capabilities for Bills of Lading (BOLs), work orders, and shipment documents.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing NetSuite ERP.
  • Deep understanding of NetSuite modules: O2C, P2P, D2B, MFG, and R2R.
  • Strong knowledge of workflows, SuiteScript (basic), SuiteFlow, saved searches, and CSV imports.
  • Experience in process optimization, documentation, and user training.
  • Familiarity with demand planning, landed cost, tax configurations, and invoice automation.

• Preferred:

  • Experience working with manufacturing or distribution companies.
  • Experience in handling intercompany and multi-subsidiary setups.
  • Knowledge of compliance handling, shipment staging, and freight management within NetSuite.

• Estimated salary range is 90-110K + GST.
