ROR Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Ruby on Rails (ROR) Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs and contribute to the organization’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices (such as TDD, DRY, and SOLID principles).
• Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and cloud services as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, perform code reviews, and optimize performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively suggest improvements for systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and familiarity with related frameworks and libraries.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
