Job Summary

The Logistics Lead will be responsible for building and managing world-class logistics operations to support Comet’s growth. This role involves overseeing end-to-end shipping, last-mile delivery, and reverse logistics processes to ensure seamless product delivery to customers. The position offers high visibility, direct exposure to the founders, and the opportunity to influence the company's logistics strategy as it scales towards Rs. 1,000 crore in revenue.

Responsibilities

• Own logistics execution: Drive timely dispatch, delivery, and reverse pickups across warehouses and delivery partners.
• Manage partners and costs: Oversee 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers and courier performance, negotiate rates and SLAs, and resolve billing discrepancies and claims.
• Improve delivery performance: Track delivery speed, RTOs (Return to Origin), and cost per order; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Build for scale: Strengthen processes, develop dashboards, and enhance same-day/next-day delivery capabilities in collaboration with warehouse and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 0-5 years of experience, preferably with exposure to logistics, operations, or e-commerce.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent ownership, communication, and execution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with logistics partners and managing supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of last-mile delivery and reverse logistics processes.
• Familiarity with logistics technology platforms and dashboard creation.
• Strong negotiation skills for rate and SLA negotiations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Experience

• 0-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, operations, or e-commerce sectors.
