Adobe Launch (AEM Developer)

Job Summary

The Adobe Launch (AEM Developer) will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role is crucial for enhancing our digital experiences and ensuring the effective delivery of content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to meet organizational goals and contribute to the overall success of our digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement solutions using Adobe Experience Manager, focusing on templates, layouts, components, and APIs (OSGi).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop applications, templates, and components for the Adobe AEM/CQ product suite.
  • Analyze and write complex programs while suggesting improvements for code maintainability and scalability.
  • Participate in Agile development practices, contributing to a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Maintain and optimize existing AEM applications to enhance performance and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in developing solutions with Adobe Experience Manager.
    • 4+ years of experience working specifically with Adobe Launch products.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong foundation in Java programming and experience with OSGi bundles.
    • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
    • Experience with AEM 6.4 / 6.5, including WCM, DAM, CQSE, and CRX.

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess code changes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Adobe Experience Manager and related technologies.
