Job Description
Arihant Capital Markets Ltd is seeking a dynamic and driven individual for the role of Vice President – Institutional
Sales. This is a high-impact individual contributor plus playing captain role, responsible for managing key institutional
client relationships, generating revenue through equity sales, and supporting the growth of the institutional equities
business. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of capital markets and a proven track record in
institutional sales.
Key Responsibilities:-
Client Relationship Management
• Develop and manage relationships with domestic institutions including mutual funds, insurance companies,
PMS, AIFs, family offices, and treasury desks.
• Act as a trusted advisor to institutional clients by offering research-driven investment ideas and timely
market insights.
Sales Execution
• Actively pitch, sell, and execute institutional equity ideas backed by Arihant’s in-house research and strategic
views.
• Collaborate closely with research analysts to represent house views and identify actionable ideas.
• Manage end-to-end execution of equity trades in coordination with dealers and compliance.Team Leadership (Playing Captain Role)
• Mentor and support junior team members by guiding them in client handling, product understanding, and
revenue generation.
• Lead by example in meeting sales and revenue targets while contributing to team objectives.
Business Development
• Identify new institutional clients and increase wallet share from existing relationships.
• Participate in roadshows, conferences, and research presentations to promote the firm’s equity offerings.
Internal Coordination
• Work closely with the dealing desk, research team, and compliance to ensure timely and compliant delivery of
services to clients.
• Provide regular market feedback to research and strategy teams.
Candidate Profile :-
Professional Experience:-
• Experience: 8–12 years in Retail Broking Distribution/ Wealth Management / Wealth Advisory /
Investment Advisory, with at least 5+ years in a leadership position. Strong institutional client network in
India.
• Education: MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA / CFP or equivalent financial qualifications.
• Skills & Competencies:
▪ Excellent understanding of equity markets, research, and trading mechanisms.
▪ Proven track record of revenue generation and client acquisition.
▪ Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
▪ High levels of ownership, initiative, and result orientation.
