Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong expertise in data engineering, ideally from top-tier IT consulting firms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on delivery experience and a proven track record in leading complex, end-to-end data projects, contributing to the organization’s goals through effective data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex data projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including budgeting and stakeholder engagement.
• Engage with clients to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Manage escalations effectively while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor distributed teams in solutioning and implementation of data projects.
• Utilize Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks to ensure timely and effective project execution.
• Maintain a strong focus on technical delivery rather than people management.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience in data engineering, data analytics, and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Proven ability in full lifecycle project delivery, including pre-sales support and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of leading distributed teams and resolving issues effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in onshore and offshore team settings.
• Familiarity with advanced data engineering tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing solutions.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering and project delivery in a consulting environment.

Environment

• The role involves a mix of onshore (30%) and offshore (70%) responsibilities, requiring effective communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
