Lead – People Strategy & Culture,

This strategic People role is essential for shaping how the organization scales across structure, leadership, and culture. The position requires collaboration with founders and senior leadership to design the people strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives while ensuring strong and consistent execution.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end People strategy, encompassing organizational design, talent development, business partnering, and culture.
  • Bring a 360-degree view of the People function, operating seamlessly across People Strategy, Organizational Development/Training and Development (OD/TD), and Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) responsibilities.
  • Partner with founders on organizational strategy, team design, and long-term workforce planning.
  • Design and implement a performance architecture (goal-setting, reviews, feedback systems).
  • Shape and institutionalize a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
  • Act as a strategic HRBP to leadership, aligning people decisions with business outcomes.
  • Build leadership capability and manager effectiveness across the organization.
  • Define the compensation and rewards philosophy that aligns with growth and performance.
  • Translate strategy into simple, effective processes, ensuring strong adoption across teams.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in People/HR roles with end-to-end ownership of the function.
  • Strong experience in early-stage or scaling startups (0 → 10 / 1 → 50 journeys).
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution layers.
  • Experience working closely with founders and influencing organizational-level decisions.
  • A clear point of view on culture, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ability to bring structure without slowing down pace.

Preferred Skills

  • Only XLRI or TISS Candidates - Mandatory
  • Experience in high-growth, high-performance environments.
  • Prior experience building people systems and frameworks from first principles.
