Job Summary: As a Marketplace Manager at Plix, you will be responsible for driving revenue across multiple eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, and more. You will oversee the entire marketplace operation, from optimizing product listings and managing relationships with platform personnel, to coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely deliveries and reducing stock-out time. Key Responsibilities: ● Revenue Growth: Drive revenue generation across key eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, etc. ● Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and new market opportunities. ● Product Optimization: Lead efforts for product cataloguing, A+ content creation, and SEO to enhance product visibility and listings. ● Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace personnel to optimize performance and resolve issues efficiently. ● Operations Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to streamline shipments and POs to reduce stock-out time and ensure seamless inventory management. ● Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, analyze key metrics, and collaborate with management to forecast future performance and growth strategies. Qualifications & Experience: ● Education: Bachelor’s degree in BTech, BCom, MBA, or any other relevant field. ● Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience in managing eCommerce sales and marketplace operations. ● Industry Knowledge: Strong interest in and willingness to work within the beauty & personal care sector is a significant advantage. ● Skills: ○ Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate brand objectives and marketplace strategies to internal and external stakeholders. ○ Ability to develop and nurture relationships with cross-functional teams and platform representatives. ○ Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. ○ Leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and guide a team of associates to drive performance.
