Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Liferay Developer with strong frontend skills to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Liferay (preferably DXP), portlet development, and frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions using Liferay DXP, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
• Engage in portlet, hook, and theme development to customize Liferay applications as per client needs.
• Integrate frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery into Liferay projects.
• Work with REST/SOAP API integrations to connect frontend applications with backend services.
• Maintain a good understanding of Liferay architecture and its customization capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Liferay development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
• Proficient in Liferay DXP and core development practices including Portlet, Hook, and Theme development.
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with React.js or Angular frameworks (preferred).
• Solid understanding of REST/SOAP API integration.
• Familiarity with Liferay architecture and customization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team setup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, or cloud platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Liferay and frontend development.
