QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Our QA Automation Engineer plays a key role in developing automated test scripts for the Salesforce platform. The successful candidate will work closely with QA and Business Systems Analysis (BSA) teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of Salesforce solutions. Expertise in Salesforce functionalities, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and automation tools such as Selenium and Provar is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for the Salesforce platform.
• Collaborate with QA and BSA teams to ensure comprehensive testing of Salesforce solutions.
• Validate the reliability and scalability of Salesforce applications through systematic test automation.
• Identify, document, and track defects; partner with development teams to facilitate quick resolutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes in test automation strategies and practices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities.
• Proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium and Provar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with agile software development and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation within deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with additional testing frameworks or tools beyond Selenium and Provar.
• Exposure to advanced Salesforce modules and configurations.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude toward quality assurance.

Experience

• Relevant experience in QA automation engineering or a similar role is desired.
• Hands-on experience with test automation for Salesforce solutions will be a significant advantage.
