Job Summary
As a Transformation Manager, you will play a crucial role in strategizing the digital roadmap for the entire Manufacturing organization at Ather, encompassing areas such as Vehicle & Battery Assembly Line, Quality, Warehousing, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Your efforts will be pivotal in ensuring that stakeholder requirements are prioritized and effectively communicated across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnering: Strategize the digital roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners across various functions, ensuring clear communication of business needs and critical requirements.
- Technology Evangelism: Identify opportunities for technology implementation and automation, manage product backlogs, and oversee the design and documentation of SAP systems including Production Planning (PP), Quality Management System (QMS), Warehouse Management (WM), and Materials Management (MM).
- Integration Management: Ensure stable and scalable integration with other applications within the SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) ecosystems, guiding the development team to meet business requirements.
- Process Champion: Advocate for lean processes, converting stakeholder problem statements into actionable solutions, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful adoption of implemented solutions.
- Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote stakeholder understanding and adoption of new technologies and processes post-implementation.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering)
- Desirable: Master in Business Administration from a premier business school.
- Experience:
- 10 to 14 years of Digital Transformation experience in the automotive 2W/4W industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with setting up processes and systems in a 2W/4W manufacturing setup.
- Understanding of the end-to-end business value chain: Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warehousing.
- Familiarity with ERP tools such as SAP (PP, QM, MM, WM), TC PLM, MES, and Ariba.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative analytical skills to assess ROI and business value delivery.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing consulting.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Experience in business process designing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Value Stream Design in a digital context.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 to 14 years of relevant experience in Digital Transformation within the automotive industry.
Environment
- This role is based in Hosur, within the factory environment.
