Job Summary
As the Business Finance Lead, you will be the financial backbone of Bizzy Bix. This role is pivotal, requiring you to build from scratch and take ownership of all financial aspects within a fast-moving consumer brand. You will manage every financial detail within the organization, ensuring that finance acts as a growth lever, not merely a support function.
Responsibilities

Financial Management & Planning
- Own the full financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Build financial models that drive decisions, focusing on unit economics, channel margins, and pricing scenarios.
- Lead annual planning and maintain it throughout the year to reflect reality rather than just ambitions.

Management Information Systems (MIS) & Reporting
- Design and maintain MIS dashboards that provide leadership with real-time visibility.
- Deliver timely financial and operational reports that are sharp and clear, eliminating the need for repeated inquiries.
- Ensure accuracy in all data management processes.

P&L Management
- Oversee the Profit and Loss statement comprehensively, tracking revenues, COGS, and gross margins.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively, providing insights and recommended actions.
- Ensure cost discipline across business units.

Audit & Compliance
- Conduct internal and statutory audits on schedule, maintaining compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage relationships with auditors and regulatory authorities as the primary point of contact.

Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash flow daily, weekly, and monthly to prevent liquidity issues.
- Optimize working capital to ensure cash availability for quick business actions.
- Manage banking relationships effectively.

Payment Recovery Management
- Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
- Develop frameworks for reducing days sales outstanding (DSO) and minimizing bad debt.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to foster a shared accountability in collections.

Bookkeeping & Accounts
- Maintain up-to-date records in accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review reconciliations to catch discrepancies early.

ERP & Systems Management
- Oversee the ERP system configurations and data integrity.
- Drive adoption of ERP across teams and improve financial workflows through automation.
Qualifications

Educational Background:
- CA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years in finance or business finance, preferably in a startup, FMCG company, or fast-moving consumer brand.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow management.
- Strong capabilities in MIS reporting and dashboards.
- Knowledge in ERP/accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and skilled in Excel or Google Sheets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
