Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Cybersecurity Sales Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to drive business growth by promoting and selling cybersecurity solutions to prospective and existing clients. This role is crucial for expanding our client base and ensuring that we meet and exceed our clients' cybersecurity needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients in the cybersecurity space through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs of cybersecurity offerings.
  • Articulate the unique value proposition of the company's cybersecurity solutions relative to competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with CRM and technical teams to generate, qualify, and manage leads through the sales funnel.
  • Assist in preparing detailed proposals, RFP responses, and solution documents tailored to client requirements.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) or Proof of Value (PoV) evaluations with prospective clients.
  • Engage with existing clients to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and facilitate renewal of agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and prepare reports on pipeline, activities, and outcomes.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and emerging technologies to effectively advise clients.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications: Graduate / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or related field; specialization in Sales & Marketing or Cybersecurity preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales or pre-sales, preferably in cybersecurity or IT security.
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure architecture and design proficiency.
  • Capability in conducting infrastructure requirement analysis to assess client IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity solution assessment and gap analysis.
  • Skills in offering appropriate solutions to mitigate identified gaps and vulnerabilities.
  • Prior experience with security vendors, system integrators, or IT solution companies is advantageous.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions such as endpoint protection, firewall/UTM, VPN, SIEM, XDR/EDR, and cloud security platforms.
  • Proficiency in CRM applications like HubSpot or similar platforms.
  • Strong negotiation skills along with the ability to prepare clear and accurate client-facing documents.
  • Experience in conducting research and preparing insights to support business development.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years in sales or pre-sales roles, specifically in the cybersecurity or IT security domain.

Environment

  • Location: Andheri, Mumbai.
  • The work environment typically includes a mix of office-based tasks and client interactions.

Salary

  • CTC – Depends on work experience.
