Job Summary
The Vice President of Technology is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for spearheading Logile’s technology transformation and platform evolution. This dynamic and visionary leader will execute end-to-end technology strategy, modernize legacy systems, scale DevOps capabilities, and architect a modern data platform to power business intelligence and AI initiatives. The role demands a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and inspirational leadership to champion innovation and drive meaningful organizational change. The VP will collaborate closely with product, operations, and executive teams to ensure technology accelerates innovation, supports growth, and delivers business value.
Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Partner with the CTO to convert the company's technology vision into actionable plans, architecture, and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead modernization, platform scalability, and engineering transformation initiatives.
- Act as a thought leader and internal evangelist for modern technology practices by evaluating emerging technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Security teams to align technical execution with company goals.
- Serve as a hands-on technology leader advocating for modern engineering principles and best practices in design, scalability, and resilience.

DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Reliability
- Architect and lead a modern DevOps strategy for rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery across all environments.
- Implement and scale CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated deployment workflows.
- Embed operational excellence (reliability, security, observability) early in the development lifecycle.
- Guide cloud strategy and infrastructure evolution for scalability, cost optimization, and hybrid/multi-cloud flexibility (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead site reliability engineering (SRE) practices, including SLOs, error budgets, and incident response protocols.
- Continuously evolve the platform’s maturity and performance using advancements in DevOps tooling and cloud-native ecosystems.

Data Engineering
- Own the vision, architecture, and execution of a modern data platform for analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML use cases.
- Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and streaming architectures.
- Establish robust data governance practices ensuring data integrity, lineage, compliance, and secure access.
- Partner with engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accessibility and reliability for decision-making.
- Evaluate and implement modern data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Delta Lake, dbt, Kafka).
Qualifications
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, and data engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or VP/Director level role.
- Proven experience transitioning from monolithic to microservices-based architectures.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Java-based platforms, Spring Boot, and cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong background in DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms and cloud data pipelines (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
- Solid understanding of data governance, quality, lineage, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Familiarity with API-first design, service orchestration, and platform scalability best practices.
- Self-driven, execution-focused, and able to drive initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
- 12–15+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or VP/Director level role.
- Experience in software engineering, DevOps, data engineering, and enterprise-scale architecture.
- Hands-on experience with modernization initiatives and large-scale platform transformations.
Environment
- Onsite position at Logile Bhubaneswar Office.
- Full-time role.
- Requires some overlap with US working hours.

Salary
- ₹7,000,000 – ₹9,000,000 per annum.
