Job Summary
The Product Manager role focuses on supporting the Product Head in developing product strategy, positioning, and sales pitches for both existing and new investment products. This position plays a vital role in identifying market opportunities, tracking industry trends, and contributing to the overall product development process.
Responsibilities
- Support the Product Head in product strategy, positioning, and sales pitches for investment products.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities within equity and debt segments.
- Track Assets Under Management (AUM) movements, industry trends, and scheme performance metrics.
- Develop comprehensive product communication, market outlooks, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with fund managers, marketing teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Assist in new product development and planning for fund launches.
- Prepare detailed reports, investor communication, and board presentations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–10 years in mutual funds, asset management, or investment products.
- Education: Post-graduation in Finance or a related field.
- Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of the mutual fund industry, particularly in equity and fixed income markets.
- Experience in product development or product strategy.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with investment teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with digital investing platforms and innovative product features would be advantageous.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and project management.
Experience
Candidates should have 5–10 years of relevant experience in mutual funds, asset management, or investment products.
