Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled AEM Backend Developer to join our team and work on enterprise-level Adobe Experience Manager projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AEM development, Java, and integrations with backend systems to deliver personalized, scalable digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend components and services for AEM-based applications.
• Build custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and services using Java, OSGi, Sling, and JCR.
• Integrate AEM with external systems such as CRM, analytics, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and RESTful APIs.
• Develop reusable services, APIs, and libraries for business logic and integrations.
• Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Support AEM upgrades, performance tuning, and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM backend or integration components.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x).
• Proficiency in Java, Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), OSGi, and Apache Sling frameworks.
• Deep understanding of AEM architecture, including Java Content Repository (JCR), Digital Asset Management (DAM), workflows, templates, and components.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Familiarity with Apache Felix, CRXDE, and AEM Dispatcher.
• Knowledge of Maven, Git, and build automation tools.
• Experience in deploying AEM applications to production environments.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Headless CMS approach using AEM.
• Exposure to Adobe I/O, Adobe Target, or Adobe Analytics integration.
• Cloud experience (e.g., AEM as a Cloud Service, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
