Role Overview
We are hiring a Lead Product Manager who will be the senior-most product hire at the company. This is a hands-on product leadership role. The person will report directly to the founder and will be accountable for building product experiences that drive the company’s business outcomes across app, web, events, community, lifecycle, and new 0-1 product verticals.
We are looking for a product builder who can independently identify business problems, deeply understand users, define product solutions, work closely with design and engineering, and drive measurable impact. The role will be approximately 80% hands-on product building and 20% team leadership.
The person will manage:
1 UI/UX Designer / 1 Associate Product Manager
Key Responsibilities -
- Own the company’s product roadmap across app, web, events, community, lifecycle, and new product experiences.
- Translate business goals into sharp product problem statements, user journeys, PRDs, experiments, and execution plans.
- Deeply understand the company’s 50+ audience through both data and direct customer insight.
- Identify product-led bottlenecks affecting activation, engagement, event registration, repeat, and lifecycle movement.
- Define product funnels, dashboards, and success metrics.
- Work closely with engineering to prioritize, ship, and iterate quickly.
- Work closely with design to ensure simple, intuitive, premium, and trust-building experiences.
- Manage and coach the UI/UX designer and Associate Product Manager.
- Build strong product operating discipline across discovery, prioritization, execution, launch, and post launch measurement.
- Partner with growth, events, community, travel, and operations teams to ensure product decisions are connected to business outcomes.
- Bring first-principles thinking to new product verticals and user journeys.
- Reduce founder dependency on day-to-day product diagnosis, prioritisation, and execution.
Ideal Candidate
- 5–8+ years of product experience
- Prior experience in a B2C product environment
- Experience building consumer app/web experiences
- Experience with engagement, retention, conversion, or lifecycle products
- Experience in early-stage, 0-1, or 1-10 product building
- Strong comfort with product analytics and funnel thinking
- Prior experience working closely with engineering and design teams
- Strong written and verbal communication
Good-to-Have
- Experience in community, social, marketplace, local services, travel, health tech, edtech, fintech, or other consumer internet businesses
- Experience in online + offline consumer businesses
- Experience building products for users outside the default young urban internet audience
- Ex-founder or founding-team experience
- Experience managing a small product/design team
- SQL or basic data querying ability
