Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 6+ years of hands-on expertise to design, configure, and enhance our ServiceNow platform. The role will focus on Employee Center, Incident Management, Request Management, Change Management, and system integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong development skills in widget customization, workflow automation, and third-party integrations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and customize the Self-Service Portal using Employee Center.
- Define and manage service offerings, categories, and menu structures.
- Configure Virtual Agent, search, knowledge base, and quick links.
- Develop custom widgets using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Create client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and Script Includes.
- Use Flow Designer and Workflow Editor for automation and orchestration.
- Build reusable catalog items, variables, and variable sets.
- Implement data policies, access control rules, and form-level restrictions.
- Configure Incident Management including major incident workflows and SLAs.
- Define and implement Request Management and Service Catalog.
- Create auto-assignment rules, workgroup routing, and watch lists.
- Configure Problem Management, Change Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop Standard, Normal, and Emergency Change workflows.
- Implement CAB definitions, scheduling, and automated approvals.
- Set up Agile Development: sprint planning, backlog management, and story templates.
- Integrate with Microsoft Teams for notifications and approvals.
- Integrate with Active Directory for Single Sign-On (SSO) and user/group synchronization.
- Integrate with Workday for HR data sync and onboarding processes.
- Configure role-based access control (RBAC) and user permissions.
- Manage update sets, version control, and development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, specifically in the areas mentioned.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its components.
- Experience with web services integration (REST/SOAP).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices in ServiceNow environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITOM, ITSM, and HR Service Delivery modules.
- Familiarity with dependency management tools.
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development.
Environment
- This is a remote position. Candidates should be comfortable working from home and collaborating with a distributed team.
