Software Developer

Job Summary

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality application software. This role is crucial in ensuring the integration of enterprise-level applications and contributing to the overall success of the organization through effective software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application software using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Implement services-based integration for high-volume, heterogeneous integrations using REST, XML, and custom APIs.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment to deliver software solutions.
• Utilize design patterns to enhance software design and architecture.
• Work with Oracle databases for data-heavy applications, ensuring high throughput and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in application software development.
• Strong analytical and design skills.
• Experience with enterprise-level application servers like TomEE.
• Strong understanding of API-driven architecture, including versioning, compatibility, and API lifecycle management.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodology and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Technical skills in Java 8, OOP principles, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API, and Oracle SQL.
• Experience with caching technologies such as Oracle Coherence.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Kafka for messaging and data streaming.
• Knowledge of Elastic Search, MongoDB, Docker, Chef, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Splunk.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Familiarity with software management tools such as GIT, Maven, and Jenkins.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in application software development, particularly in enterprise-level environments.

Environment

• The position is based in Pune and requires in-office work.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹2,800,000.
