Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned regulatory and compliance professional with at least 8 years of relevant experience in onshore and cross-border product manufacturing roles. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory requirements while broadening the organization’s product manufacturing and sustenance framework.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and implement regulatory changes applicable to Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), IFSC entities, and Offshore jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, guidelines, and circulars issued by regulatory authorities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders on regulatory and compliance-related matters.
• Provide advisory support to business teams on regulatory implications of new products, structures, and initiatives.
• Oversee filings, disclosures, and reporting requirements within stipulated timelines.
• Support inspections, regulatory audits, and inquiries with appropriate documentation and responses.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: A degree in finance, business, law, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Mutual Fund regulations, AIF regulations, and related compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of IFSC regulatory environment (e.g., GIFT City structures) and Offshore jurisdictions.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory guidelines and translate them into actionable processes.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Asset Management Companies (AMC), AIFs, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), or financial institutions.
• Exposure to regulatory interactions and handling Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) and product manufacturing.
• Exposure to cross-border investment structures and compliance requirements.
