Job Summary

The R2R (Record to Report) Profile involves managing the general ledger accounting processes to ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and enhancing the accuracy of financial reports, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explaining accounting practices.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and develop processes to enhance financial accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with other finance teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Flexibility to work in shifts (UK, US, Pacific, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
