Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)<br /> Location: Mumbai<br /> Reports To: CEO<br /> <br /> Job Summary<br /> The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for leading the organization’s technology strategy, ensuring the successful selection, development and execution of innovative solutions that align with business goals. The CTO will oversee all technical and digital initiatives, including IT infrastructure (includes cloud infrastructure management), software development, data security, and regulatory compliance. CTO will serve as a critical partner to executive leadership, driving technology-enabled transformation and fostering a culture of continuous innovation.<br /> <br /> Key Responsibilities<br />

1. Strategic Leadership and Vision<br /> o Define and execute the organization’s technology roadmap to support overall business strategy.<br /> o Identify and recommend new technology solutions and tools that enhance efficiency, scalability, and competitiveness.<br /> o Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, senior management, and board on emerging technologies, digital transformation opportunities, and regulatory requirements.<br /> o Manage decisions wrt platform selections, negotiations, contracting etc<br /> <br />
2. Technology Management and Innovation<br /> o Oversee the design, development, and deployment of robust and scalable IT infrastructure, applications, and software.<br /> o Drive innovation by fostering an agile environment that encourages experimentation and continuous improvement.<br /> o Evaluate and implement new technology initiatives to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business agility.<br /> o Manage projects and execution, problem solving, solutions<br /> <br />
3. Governance, Risk, and Compliance<br /> o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.<br /> o Develop and enforce best practices for data security, privacy, and cybersecurity risk management.<br /> o Establish effective governance for IT budgeting, vendor management, and project prioritization.<br /> <br />

4.Operational Excellence<br /> o Lead technology teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure services.<br /> o Monitor performance metrics and maintain a culture of accountability and quality across all technical functions.<br /> o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology strategies with business priorities.<br /> <br /> 5. Talent Development<br /> o Attract, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of technology professionals.<br /> o Promote continuous learning and development within the technology department to keep pace with industry trends and advancements.<br /> <br /> Qualifications<br /> • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.<br /> • Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within [relevant industry, e.g., banking, finance, technology services].<br /> • Proven track record in leading digital transformation, IT strategy, and technology innovation in complex, regulated environments.<br /> • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks.<br /> • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.<br /> <br /> Preferred Skills<br /> • Experience in cloud computing, AI/ML, and data analytics.<br /> • Strong understanding of technology trends, cybersecurity, and data protection best practices.<br /> • Prior experience collaborating with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
