Job Summary

The Project In-Charge will oversee the end-to-end retail store fit-out and execution for ZenZebra, ensuring that all projects are delivered according to approved designs, quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines. This role is crucial in enhancing the customer experience by managing the physical setup of retail spaces effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of store fit-out from site handover to store opening.
• Supervise all aspects of construction, including civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, painting, signage, fixtures, and interiors.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, architects, designers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor daily progress against drawings, specifications, and timelines.
• Track materials, costs, manpower, procurement, and deliveries.
• Resolve on-site execution issues, ensuring quality workmanship and finish.
• Manage snagging, rectification, final inspection, documentation, measurements, and vendor bills.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and coordinate with Operations for a timely store launch.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in retail fit-outs, interior execution, commercial projects, or similar roles.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of retail construction and interior execution.
• Management Skills: Proven vendor and contractor management abilities.
• Soft Skills: Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to Handle Pressure: Capable of managing multiple activities under tight deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel across project sites.
• Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with project management software.
• Previous experience in the retail sector is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience is required.

Environment

The role primarily involves working on-site across various retail locations. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and should be willing to travel as needed.

Salary

The budget for this position is approximately ₹6 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
