The Product Manager will lead Content Management System (CMS) migrations in retail environments, acting as a strategic orchestrator to bridge technical implementation with business outcomes. Responsibilities
- Technical Roadmap Development: Collaborate with the solution architect to create detailed migration timelines, addressing content modeling transformation, API integration rewiring, and platform-specific feature implementation.
- Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Manage relationships across IT, marketing, sales, operations, and compliance teams to maintain alignment on migration objectives.
- Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify potential data loss scenarios, SEO ranking impacts, and operational disruptions while formulating comprehensive contingency plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical constraints into business language and ensure executive support for stringent migration deadlines.
- Enterprise Stakeholder Management: Foster sophisticated stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels and functions to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- 7-11 years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail technology.
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
- Professional Certifications: PDMA New Product Development Professional (NPDP) or AIPMM Certified Product Manager (CPM) is highly valued.
- Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, data analysis, UX/UI principles, and API architecture understanding.
- Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with seasonal product launches, multi-channel publishing requirements, and real-time inventory integration with supply chain systems.
