Job Summary
We're looking for a proactive Procurement Manager to own end-to-end procurement of raw materials across Anveshan's operations. This role involves monitoring stock daily on our Warehouse Management System (WMS) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), raising purchase orders as materials hit thresholds, and coordinating closely with vendors on quality and timely dispatch, ensuring uninterrupted production.
Responsibilities

Inventory Monitoring & Planning
- Monitor stock daily, reviewing the WMS/ERP system to track raw material levels and flag low items.
- Raise purchase orders for materials below the threshold based on production requirements and vendor lead times.

Vendor Management
- Coordinate closely with vendors to ensure raw material quality and timely dispatch of orders.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate their performance for reliability.

Operations & Problem-Solving
- Proactively resolve last-minute challenges such as logistics disruptions to keep production on track.

Inventory Control & Reporting
- Generate weekly reports on slow-moving and obsolete stock and strategize to mitigate excess inventory.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records for accuracy.

Warehouse & Space Management
- Optimize storage by ensuring proper stacking and maximizing storage for efficient material handling.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise a team of 2–3 personnel managing inbound and outbound material activities.
- Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Quality Assurance to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3 years in procurement, preferably within the food industry.
- Education: Bachelor's in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Inventory Expertise: Strong understanding of inventory management principles and procurement best practices.
- Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team.
- Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building vendor relationships.
- Ownership-Driven: Proactive mindset suited to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and cost analysis.
- Knowledge of compliance and quality standards in procurement.
Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, particularly in the food industry.
