AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for sports analytics, recommendations, predictions, and automation.
• Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization to improve model effectiveness.
• Build and maintain scalable AI pipelines and backend integrations to support AI applications.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions effectively.
• Implement and fine-tune Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Generative AI models based on business needs.
• Develop APIs and services for seamless AI model integration into applications.
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency based on data insights.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and sports technology trends.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in AI/ML Engineering or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.
• Experience working with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, or Computer Vision models.
• In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend development concepts.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and database systems.
• Familiarity with model deployment tools and MLOps practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment requiring ownership and adaptability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on recommendation engines, predictive analytics, or real-time AI systems.
• Exposure to sports analytics, gaming, fitness-tech, or fan engagement platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), LangChain, Vector Databases, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks is a plus.
