Job Description – Head of Product, Marg ERP
Location: Delhi
Reporting To: Managing Director
Role Overview
The Head of Product for Marg ERP will be responsible for ensuring Marg’s flagship ERP
product delivers maximum value to customers, with a strong focus on reducing
customer churn. The role will also lead efforts to expand the total addressable market
(TAM) by extending ERP capabilities into adjacent industries such as FMCG, Hotels,
Automotive, and other verticals.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Retention & Value Delivery
• Develop and execute strategies to reduce customer churn and increase
retention across the ERP customer base.
• Partner with customer success, sales, and support to identify churn drivers and
embed solutions into the product.
• Enhance core ERP workflows to ensure customers derive measurable business
value – efficiency, compliance, cost savings, and ease of use.
• Implement customer listening mechanisms (feedback, usage analytics, NPS) to
continuously align product improvements with customer needs.
TAM Expansion
• Identify and validate adjacent industries (e.g., FMCG, Hotels, Automotive,
Pharma) where Marg ERP can be customized and adopted.
• Design vertical-specific product extensions and modules to cater to these
categories.
• Collaborate with GTM teams to craft industry-focused product-market
strategies.
• Ensure ERP roadmap balances core product strength with new vertical
innovation.
Execution & Leadership
• Lead the ERP product management team, instilling a culture of value-driven
innovation and strong customer focus.• Collaborate with engineering (CTO/Head of Engineering) to deliver scalable,
reliable, and easy-to-adopt features.
• Track and measure churn reduction, adoption, and TAM growth metrics.
• Act as a customer champion and product evangelist, representing ERP strategy
with internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Profile
• 10–15 years of product management experience, with deep expertise in ERP,
accounting, or enterprise SaaS products.
• Proven experience in reducing churn and improving adoption in B2B SaaS/ERP
environments.
• Understanding of SMB and enterprise workflows across multiple industries.
• Experience in industry-specific ERP modules or vertical SaaS is a strong plus.
• Commercially minded with strong business ownership of product outcomes.
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire teams and
align them with customer value creation.
Key Success Metrics
• Reduction in customer churn and increase in long-term retention.
• Growth in Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
• Adoption of ERP in new verticals and contribution to overall revenue.
• Strong customer satisfaction and NPS improvements.
• Expansion of TAM through successful expansion into adjacent categories.
