Role Objective
Leading Financial Planning & Analysis, MIS & Business Partnering function
Job Responsibilities
FP&A
 Lead a team of FP&A, drive financial performance, identify and
understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
 Leading discussion for detailed business financial.
(AOP/Forecast/Actuals), Quarterly rolling forecast, Long range planning.
 Supports strategy development and business decision making with
financial analysis. Recommend action plan in line with the analysis.
 Drive analysis of business performance: sales, margin and costs. Conduct
reviews and provide actions for cost optimization with special focus and
analysis for corporate vertical.
 Assesses business opportunities and risks, predicts trends, estimates
profitability and growth areas, provides creative solutions, manages costs
and allocates resources to add value and manage the portfolio.
MIS
 Responsible for preparation and review of monthly, quarterly & yearly
P&L, B/s & cashflow parameters for the group.
 The candidiate must ensure proper issuance and accuracy of all financial
information on timely basis. Circulation of analytical reports along with
variance analysis to stakeholders.
 Conduct Monthly business review meetings with the functional Heads &
Business Heads, resolve all business queries relating to the financials
shared.
 Ensuring all business queries related to financials shared are resolved
before the monthly financials review.
 Support Head of Finance to provide management and other departments
with information for decision making in their respective scope of
operations
 Support the financial operations of all related business units within the
company.
Business Partnering
 Provide targeted strategic insights based on analysis of operational
performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends and the
competitor landscape.
 Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to
ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
 Become the interface or ‘translator’ between finance and operations and
support senior leadership team in managing and achieving the financial
targets and objectives.
 Should be result-oriented and can draw on ‘big’ and ‘small’ data,
selecting the appropriate tools to manipulate, analyse and interpret it in
sophisticated, audience-appropriate ways.
 Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior
managers and their teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
 The candidate would be responsible for leading FP&A, Business
Partnering & MIS function.
 Would be responsible for ensuring the team's compliance to policies &
procedures, adherence to timelines & accuracy of the output.
 Would be responsible for team's performance and on their career
progression prospects and work towards improving and developing their
skills.
 Recommends & conducts all necessary training to keep the accounting
team’s skills and knowledge up to date.
 The candidate will also have to manage onboarding activities or work
with the human resources department to make sure the new hire
receives the guidance and information they need as and when required.
