Job Summary

The Salesforce Test Lead is responsible for overseeing the testing processes of Salesforce implementations within the organization. This role ensures the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications by maintaining high standards of software performance and user satisfaction while coordinating cross-functional teams for efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage Testing Team: Supervise and support the Salesforce testing team to ensure efficient and effective testing methodologies.
  • Develop Test Strategies: Create, implement, and refine comprehensive test strategies and plans tailored specifically to Salesforce applications.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to determine project requirements, timelines, and testing priorities.
  • Conduct Test Reviews: Perform regular evaluations and reviews of testing outcomes, providing actionable feedback to enhance software quality.
  • Maintain Test Documentation: Ensure that all test cases, scripts, and defect reports are meticulously documented, current, and accessible for review.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and its testing methodologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with proven ability to manage and guide a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with test management tools and software.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate efficient cross-departmental interactions.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Certifications: Possession of Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder is advantageous.
  • Automated Testing: Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Agile Expertise: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, enhancing project adaptability and efficiency.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, with a proven track record in a test lead role within Salesforce environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing testing teams and coordinating comprehensive testing activities.
