Job Summary
The HR Associate – Learning & Competency Development will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s HR management system, learning initiatives, and competency development activities. The role ensures compliance with various ISO standards, ESG, SA8000, and customer-specific requirements, contributing to the organization’s continuous improvement, regulatory adherence, and talent development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HR documents and records related to QMS, EMS, OHS, ISMS, ESG, SA8000, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).
- Conduct risk assessments for HR functions to identify and mitigate potential compliance and operational risks.
- Maintain and update HR procedures and documentation across multiple levels (Level 1, 2, 3, & 4).
- Coordinate with the IMS team for audits, compliance activities, and ensure timely closure of Non-Conformities (NCs).
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.
- Monitor the effectiveness of HR systems and ensure process compliance.
- Handle document control, change management, and confidentiality processes.
- Support ESG initiatives, including documentation, reporting, and implementation within HR functions.
- Maintain and update ISMS records, policies, documents, and compliance trackers as per ISO 27001:2022.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) based on organizational and functional requirements.
- Support the implementation of competency frameworks for technical, behavioral, and leadership roles.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Track learning effectiveness, maintain training records, and develop dashboards.
- Support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and employee capability-building initiatives.
- Assist in succession planning and talent review activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a continuous learning culture.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: MBA / PGDM in HR or related field; BBA / BE with HR specialization can also be considered.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in HR Operations, Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Competency Development.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Learning & Development processes
- Competency mapping and performance management
- HR analytics and dashboard reporting
- Document control and integrated management systems
- MS Office – Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Knowledge of HRMS/LMS platforms (preferred)
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in HR, ISO standards, or compliance are advantageous.
- Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is preferred.
- Additional Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to IMS standards, audits, and HR compliance activities.
- Familiarity with ESG, SA8000, and ISMS implementation.
- Ability to handle multiple compliance frameworks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with ISO standards.
Experience
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in HR operations, learning & development, or talent management.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or automotive sectors is highly desirable.
- Exposure to IMS standards, audits, and compliance activities is preferred.
