Job Summary

The Financial Analyst - FP&A will play a critical role in the financial planning and analysis process. This position aims to provide insights into financial reporting, annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis while partnering with various teams across the organization. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong analytical skills to support the company's financial strategies and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive preparation of Management Information Systems (MIS), variance analysis, and provide insights to leadership.
• Lead the preparation of annual operating plans and long-range quarterly forecasts in coordination with finance, operations, and business teams.
• Anchor preparation and provide insights on long-term working capital and cash flow projections.
• Partner with business teams and controllership teams to anchor monthly leadership reviews.
• Ensure strict adherence to timelines on all deliverables for financial reporting.
• Analyze business drivers of waste, compare them to plans, identify leakages, and present opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation projects, implementing best practices and collaborating with technology teams.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA from a premier institution.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Experience in building financial models and budgeting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel with the ability to handle large volumes of data.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, capable of multitasking and dealing with ambiguity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with financial reporting processes in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of automation tools and technologies for financial processes.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in business finance or FP&A.
