Job Description: Social Media Strategist About Huts & Looms: Huts & Looms is a renowned Indian brand specializing in handcrafted, luxury sarees, known for its exquisite designs and commitment to traditional weaving techniques. About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and online sales. You will work closely with the internal team to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience and strengthens our brand presence across various platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Content Strategy & Planning: ○ Collaborate with the internal team to co-create a comprehensive and engaging social media content calendar. ○ Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, design, sales) and external vendors (e.g., influencers, photographers) to ensure timely and seamless execution of all content calendar activities. ○ Efficiently utilize and manage the company's content bank to maximize content repurposing and optimize resource allocation. ○ Maintain and align the social media grid across all platforms with the brand's aesthetic and visual identity. 2. Creative Content Development: ○ Design captivating creatives for various platforms, including: ■ Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) ■ Marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart) ■ Website banners and landing pages ■ Paid advertising campaigns ○ Possess strong graphic design and video editing skills to create visually appealing and engaging content. 3. Brand Building & Engagement: ○ Deep understanding of brand aesthetics and the ability to flawlessly execute content calendars that align with the brand's voice and values. ○ Stay updated on the latest industry trends, best practices, and platform updates, and incorporate relevant insights into social media strategies. ○ Develop and implement strategies to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and generate leads through social media channels. ○ Monitor and analyze key metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, website traffic, conversions) to track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. 4. Influencer Marketing (Basic Understanding): ○ Basic understanding of influencer marketing principles and the ability to identify potential influencer collaborations that align with the brand's target audience. Qualifications: ● Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably with a focus on the fashion or luxury goods industry. ● Preferred: Previous experience working with a saree brand or within the Indian ethnic wear sector. ● Strong graphic design and video editing skills (proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus). ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ● Passion for social media and a keen interest in the fashion industry. ● Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bonus Points: ● Experience with paid social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads). ● Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
