Tableau Developer

Job Summary

The Tableau Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports. The role requires a deep understanding of data visualization techniques and the ability to analyze complex data sets to assist business decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data visualization solutions.
• Optimize Tableau performance and usability by implementing best practices.
• Conduct data analysis and validate the accuracy of reports and dashboards.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Tableau dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights.
• Knowledge of data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for data integration and management.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in data visualization and reporting.
