Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven professional to lead Partnerships & Alliances with Domestic Tourism Boards at Thrillophilia. This role will be responsible for building strategic collaborations with state tourism boards, government tourism bodies, and destination marketing organizations to drive co-branded campaigns, destination visibility, tourism growth initiatives, and revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate should have strong stakeholder management skills, experience in partnerships/business development, and a deep understanding of the travel and tourism ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships & Alliances: Build and manage relationships with Domestic Tourism Boards and Government Tourism Bodies; identify opportunities for strategic collaborations, destination promotions, and tourism campaigns; drive long-term partnerships aligned with business growth and destination marketing goals; represent Thrillophilia in tourism forums, trade events, and government interactions.
- Campaigns & Destination Marketing: Conceptualize and execute co-branded marketing campaigns with tourism boards; collaborate with internal marketing and content teams to create impactful destination storytelling; drive digital and offline promotional initiatives to increase traveler engagement and bookings; monitor campaign effectiveness and optimize partnership ROI.
- Business Development & Revenue Growth: Identify revenue opportunities through sponsorships, tourism partnerships, and strategic tie-ups; negotiate commercial agreements, partnership terms, and campaign deliverables; work closely with sales and category teams to maximize destination-focused business opportunities; develop scalable alliance models for long-term collaboration.
- Stakeholder Management & Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for tourism board stakeholders; coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, content, legal, and finance teams; ensure smooth execution of partnership deliverables and timelines; maintain strong governance, reporting, and relationship management processes.
- Market Intelligence & Industry Insights: Track tourism trends, destination performance, and competitor alliance strategies; identify emerging travel opportunities and government tourism initiatives; provide strategic recommendations to strengthen Thrillophilia’s destination partnerships ecosystem.
- Team Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with leadership teams to align partnerships with business priorities; build structured partnership pipelines and reporting mechanisms; drive operational excellence and speed in alliance execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in partnerships, business development, or a related field in the travel and tourism industry.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities.
- Experience in executing marketing campaigns and understanding of digital marketing initiatives.
- Understanding of tourism trends and market dynamics.
- Proficient in analyzing campaign performance metrics and optimizing for ROI.
- Relevant degree in business, marketing, or related fields is preferred.
