Job Summary

The Stat Audit role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, analyzing financial statements, and providing insights that contribute to the overall financial integrity of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory audits in compliance with Indian GAAP.
• Analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare detailed audit documentation and findings.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for audits.
• Provide recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant audit experience.
• Strong understanding of Indian GAAP Accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
• Experience with external auditing firms.

Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in statutory auditing or related financial roles.

Environment

• The position is full-time and based in Mumbai.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹21,000 - ₹29,000 per month.
