Job Summary

As a Software Development Engineer I (iOS), you will play a vital role in building and enhancing our iOS application for the fastest-growing e-commerce platform in India. This position requires you to work in a fast-paced environment, embracing agile development principles while delivering robust and impactful software features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new product features for the iOS application.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app.
• Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide architectural inputs and help maintain code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: BE/BTech/BCA/BSc in any discipline.
• Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in iOS development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Swift, Xcode, and the Cocoa framework.
  • Familiarity with Apple Design guidelines and common mobile UX patterns.
  • Understanding of core iOS concepts including Memory Management, Multithreading, Networking, and Protocols.
  • Familiarity with consuming REST APIs and JSON encoding/decoding.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Ability to reduce technical debt and review code effectively.
  • Familiarity with different programming paradigms, such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and functional programming.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SwiftUI and Combine.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong skills in writing unit and functional tests.
