Job Summary

The Sales SDE 34 role is a dynamic hybrid position that combines technical software development expertise with strong sales acumen. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales teams to design and present technical solutions, drive customer engagement, and support sales initiatives. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between complex technological products and customer needs, ensuring that technical demonstrations and solutions are aligned with market requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and tailor technical solutions accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain software tools, demos, or prototypes to effectively showcase product capabilities.
  • Deliver technical presentations and participate in customer meetings to explain and demonstrate product features.
  • Act as a liaison between product development and sales, providing customer insights and feedback to drive improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.
  • Support the entire sales cycle by preparing technical documentation and contributing to proposal development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in software development with a keen interest in or exposure to sales or business development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and a solid understanding of modern web technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to create customer-facing applications or technical demos in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities coupled with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales support tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Additional expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with data analytics or business intelligence tools.
  • Relevant certifications in technology or sales methodologies.
  • Background in strategic account management and client relationship building.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience in a sales engineering, technical pre-sales, or customer engagement role is advantageous.
