Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated OCI Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-native applications, automation, networking, and security in an OCI environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments in OCI.
• Deploy and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Resource Manager).
• Implement and manage networking, security, compute, storage, and database services on OCI.
• Monitor cloud usage, optimize performance, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Stay up to date with OCI feature releases and recommend best practices.
• Document architectures, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with OCI or other major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong hands-on experience with OCI Core Services (Virtual Cloud Networks, Subnets, Compute, Block/Object Storage, Load Balancer, etc.).
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), or Exadata Cloud Service (optional but preferred).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) tools like Terraform or OCI Resource Manager.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, Domain Name System (DNS), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• OCI certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional) are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of compliance and security best practices on OCI.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
