SAP Document AI Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned SAP Document AI Consultant with expertise in implementing and customizing SAP Document Information Extraction (DI) solutions. The role focuses on automating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) document processing, performing sentiment analysis, and setting up alert mechanisms for compliance and risk monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP Document Information Extraction (DI) services.
• Integrate SAP Document AI with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including Workflow and Alerting mechanisms.
• Develop custom pipelines for ESG document parsing, extraction, and classification.
• Perform and fine-tune sentiment analysis on ESG narratives using SAP AI Core or integrated Natural Language Processing (NLP) libraries.
• Build alerting systems for early detection of compliance violations or risk indicators.
• Collaborate with sustainability experts, data scientists, and SAP functional teams.
• Train custom machine learning models and apply rule-based techniques to improve extraction accuracy.
• Provide end-user training and create documentation for implemented solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with SAP Document AI, Document Information (DI), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and sentiment analysis, preferably using SAP AI Core or third-party AI services.
• Experience with ESG reports, sustainability disclosures, or similar unstructured documents.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP services: Workflow, Alerts, Process Automation, and AI Core.
• Understanding of ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks (e.g., Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)) is a plus.
• Proficiency in JSON, Python, and API integrations.
• Ability to design secure, scalable document processing solutions in enterprise SAP environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of regulations and standards related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques.

Experience
