Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Collection Manager to oversee and lead our collections operations at our Bellandur, Bangalore office. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 8 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in managing a large team of 40-50 people. The Collection Manager will play a critical role in improving cash flow, reducing overdue accounts, and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Collection Operations Management:
- Supervise and ensure timely collection of receivables from assigned portfolios.
- Implement and optimize collection strategies to minimize delinquency rates.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations in all collection activities.
2- Team Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 40-50 collection officers and associates.
- Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to maintain high productivity.
- Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.
3- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients to resolve payment issues.
- Negotiate payment terms and settlements with customers as needed.
- Act as a point of escalation for unresolved client disputes.
4- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company-specific guidelines in all collection activities.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and recovery rates.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on collection performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.

- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend innovative solutions.
- Leverage technology and tools to streamline collections workflows.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Experience:
