Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – SBI Mutual Fund (GIFT City)

Location: GIFT City, Gujarat, India

Role Summary:

The CEO of SBI Mutual Fund (GIFT City) will be responsible for driving the overall strategy, growth, and operational excellence of the entity. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, expanding business operations, managing key stakeholders, and positioning the firm as a leading asset manager within the GIFT City framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the vision, mission, and strategic roadmap for SBI Mutual Fund’s operations in GIFT City.
• Business Growth & Expansion: Develop and execute business strategies to expand AUM, attract institutional and HNI investors, and establish SBI Mutual Fund as a key player in the GIFT City financial ecosystem.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to SEBI, IFSCA, RBI, and other relevant regulatory requirements governing funds in GIFT City.
• Investment & Product Strategy: Oversee fund structuring, investment strategies, and product offerings tailored for international and domestic investors.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with regulators, investors, government authorities, and SBI Mutual Fund’s board to ensure smooth operations.
• Operational Excellence: Establish and optimize operational frameworks, risk management processes, and governance structures.
• Talent Management: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team to drive the organization's success.
• Technology & Innovation: Leverage fintech solutions and digital innovations to enhance fund operations, investor experience, and risk management.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 15+ years of experience in asset management, mutual funds, investment banking, or institutional finance, with a strong track record in leadership roles.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEBI, IFSCA, and other relevant financial regulations.
• Leadership & Strategy: Proven experience in driving business growth, managing P&L, and leading large teams.
• Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of global investment trends, fund structures, and wealth/institutional asset management.
• Education: MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or equivalent financial qualifications preferred.
• Network & Relationships: Established connections within the financial industry, regulatory bodies, and institutional investor networks.
