Job Summary
The Senior Executive - Liaison plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and coordination between various stakeholders involved in the building permission procedures within the real estate sector. This position ensures that all necessary permits and compliance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle, thereby contributing to the successful execution of real estate projects.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to the complete Building Permission procedures and codes.
- Conduct field visits to various Government Departments such as SRA, MHADA, and BMC.
- Oversee complete coordination with all concerned Consultants, including Architects, Licensed Engineers, Government Engineers, Various Consultants, Lawyers, and Management.
- Prepare applications for all necessary permissions along with the required documentation.
- Plan for all permissions required during the project cycle, ensuring compliance and fund requirements in coordination with the engineering department for preemptive action.
- Address and resolve all complaints received from various Government Departments in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in liaising with government departments in the real estate industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of building regulations and permissions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in documentation and application processes for government permissions.
- Degree or diploma in Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with real estate development processes and local government requirements.
- Prior experience in a similar role in a real estate development setting.
- Knowledge of pertinent legal aspects relating to real estate and building permissions.
Experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar liaison role, preferably within the real estate sector.
Environment
- The position is based in Andheri West, with potential field visits to various government departments.
