SAP SD - RAR Consultant

Job Summary

The SAP SD - RAR Consultant will be responsible for leveraging their expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) to lead projects and support the implementation of SAP solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional who can effectively communicate with various stakeholders to ensure that revenue accounting processes are executed smoothly and align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expert knowledge in SAP SD and RAR functionality related to Revenue Accounting & Reporting.
• Lead SAP projects in SAP ECC 6.0/S4 Hana and SAP BRIM, contributing over 12+ years of experience.
• Collaborate with business users to deliver applicable solutions and support activities professionally.
• Implement the SAP revenue recognition engine RAR while ensuring compliance with ASC 606 revenue standards.
• Manage and maintain strong communication with various levels of business users, including end-users and executives.
• Oversee responsibilities in Contract Management, Billing Plans, Billing, and Collections.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in SAP SD with RAR functionality.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing SAP SD and RAR projects.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue standards.
  • Experience with SAP S4 Hana, SAP BRIM, and SAP EMS integration.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, conveying ideas in both technical and user-friendly terms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Highly motivated with a driven approach to work.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience in the RAR functional area (Collections, PS, Revenue).
• Exposure to the SAAS industry would be advantageous.
• Proven experience in handling complex SAP project implementations.

Experience

• A minimum of 12+ years of experience as a Senior SAP SD Business Analyst.

Environment

• This position operates in a UK shift from 3 PM to 11 PM.
